Storage tanks / Reservoirs

The storage tanks also called reservoirs are designed for the most different areas and processes.

These devices are intended for the storage of fluids at atmospheric pressure and at pressures higher than atmospheric. They can be constructed in the most diverse dimensions depending on their application, being able to be classified in three categories: type of roof, shape, and location. They can be made with fixed, movable, fixed roof with flexible or floating diaphragm. Regarding the shape, they can be cylindrical (vertical or horizontal) or spherical (suitable for storing gas). As for their location, they can be designated as aerial or underground (suitable for storage of fuels). All categories presented here always depend on the characteristics and type of product to be stored. Depending on their application, they can be hydropneumatics tanks, expansion tanks, flash tanks, among others.
