Purchasing Technician
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional for the role of Purchasing Technician in the metalworking industry and turnkey engineering projects,
who will ensure the development of purchasing processes, in order to guarantee their effectiveness and efficiency, contributing to the achievement of the
strategy and objectives defined for the business.
Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and analysis of suppliers according to the specified cost and quality needs and conditions, identifying the best opportunities;
- Receipt and analysis of purchase orders;
- Requesting quotations according to technical specifications and drawings, and subsequent analysis of proposals;
- Conducting purchasing processes and negotiation (terms, commercial and technical conditions, quality-price, and deadline) with suppliers;
- Planning purchases, anticipating needs based on historical data and seasonality;
- Managing the relationship with suppliers, mediating ongoing consultation processes.
Requirements:
- Higher education in mechanical engineering, industrial management or equivalent;
- Minimum experience of 2 years in similar roles in the business sector / industry;
- Knowledge of raw materials and components in the field of activity;
- Fluency in English and Spanish languages (written and spoken);
- Good negotiation and communication skills;
- Insight and good problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate well with other departments;
- Independent, dynamic, persuasive, and organized person, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
